Boomers Today is our weekly podcast that helps educate families on resources available to the aging boomer population. Frank Samson, founder and CEO of Senior Care Authority®, interviews a different expert on aspects of what families face as the Boomers and their parents are aging. Subjects range from caregiver challenges, to legal matters, to financial considerations, to health and wellness topics and self-care.

Giving back to the community is an important initiative for Terri. She is a co-founder of 100+ Women Who Care – Miami Chapter. These giving circles raise money to bestow grants to local non-profits providing much needed programs and services throughout Miami Dade County. The book is a memoir about her struggles to make sense of the strange last years of her parents’ lives, when they cut loose and seemed to make a complete about-face.

Over the last decade Tzivya Green has worked with Seniors in different settings. She has worked as a Social Service Coordinator in a Skilled Nursing Facility and held a weekly dementia caregiver support group. Most recently, she obtained her Personal Care Home Administrator license and worked as an Executive Director at a Personal Care Home. Knowing that many are unaware of the eligibility, policies and process surrounding Medicaid, Tzivya spent a significant amount of time learning about Medicaid in all 50 States and started her own Medicaid planning company, Sensible Senior Planning.
Daniel E. Kennedy is a healthcare executive, counselor, author and filmmaker. His passion for disease prevention was ignited professionally while working with thousands of cancer patients at Oasis of Hope Hospital, and personally, by witnessing the cancer and heart disease related deaths of his grandmother, uncle, aunt, and father. Through the process of writing and ghostwriting 12 books on cancer and heart health, Daniel honed the skills necessary to create, write, and direct the 8-episode Healthy Long Life documentary series.
